Cobodoc controls surgical-instrument assets and intellectual property in cranial access and cranial fixation, including VitalDrill and VitalFix technologies.
Cobodoc Surgical System
Development priorities include:
- Ergonomic robotic assistance platform
- Integration of clinician-facing workflow-support tools
- Cobotics As A Service with the Cobodoc Software Suite
- Safety-oriented system design
- A cost-effective system
How Cobodoc Works?¶
During the Cobodoc proof-of-concept phase, early development work explored the use of robotic assistance to support minimally invasive procedures.
Cobodoc is developing software-assisted robotic guidance intended to support clinician-supervised procedures in complex anatomical environments. The platform is intended to help clinicians perform minimally invasive procedures with improved consistency, while maintaining surgeon supervision and control throughout the intervention.
The system is designed to assist clinicians in positioning instruments in challenging anatomical environments while maintaining physician supervision and procedural control.
