Training surgeons and staff is essential for providing high-quality surgical care. Proper machine usage can lead to better outcomes.
A training program adapted to the use of the Cobodoc system will be delivered to help all medical teams provide the best surgical care. The curriculum is specifically developed for each type of learner, in line with the learning curve of hospital staff: paramedics, nurses, OR managers, instrument technicians, interns, junior surgeons and doctors. The pedagogy is based on fun exercises and virtual operations on a simulator to learn how to collaborate with the cobot's movements, to exploit Cobodoc technology, and to use instruments compatible with the cobot.
Training booklets will be produced for educators and academics.
In addition to these training programs, coaching will be offered in partner university centers or in expert training centers for minimally invasive surgery. Cobodoc will offer the opportunity to meet experts in surgical cobotics.
In addition, Cobodoc certified medical and paramedical trainers will be on site to assist and advise medical teams on how to use the equipment, once the robot has been installed and ready to use for the first time.
