Turning emotion into action...

“In the darkest moments of life, a spark of inspiration can ignite profound change.”

Bringing new hope to people affected by cancer!

This is precisely what happened when a cherished loved one received a cancer diagnosis: presence of blood vessels and the margins of error in the positioning of treatment tools meant that tumors could not be treated safely and successfully. The moment of diagnosis was a life-altering event, a storm that swept through our lives, leaving us both frightened and determined. It was a wake-up call that propelled us into a world we had never imagined. It also laid the foundation for a journey of innovation. This event was the catalyst for an extraordinary project, one that has the potential to transform medical tools and techniques, and bring new hope to those affected by this disease.

Transforming emotion into action

In the days following the diagnosis, I embarked on a relentless quest for knowledge: a world of research and invention. I realized the urgent need to improve medical tools and techniques for cancer treatment. I began to understand the disease, current diagnostic methods and available treatments. Visits to doctors and discussions with specialists revealed the challenges that patients and healthcare professionals are facing. I discovered that current treatment tools, while outstanding, have some limitations that limit the precision and speed needed to save lives. To overcome this challenge, the idea of a surgical cobotics system, COBODOC, was born to answer the challenges of future surgical operations, particularly but not exclusively for cancer treatment. The aim is to give surgeons, surgical teams and hospitals the tools to transform the approach adopted by surgical procedures around the world.

From Lyon, France...

Thanks to my team of engineers and software developers, and in collaboration with private and medical partners including surgeons from a leading hospital in Lyon, I have demonstrated the benefits of the Cobodoc surgical system for patients. Following tests and in-vivo experiments on animals, the concept of collaborative and intelligent robotic positioning on a moving target applied to the focal treatment of solid tumors was successfully validated.

Boston Harbor with Financial District Buildings and a Focus on Healthcare and Digital Medicine

Today, we're at the crossroads of innovation. Our project, which has already proved its worth and delivered significant benefits, now aspires to break new scientific frontiers and extend its impact across the oceans. The time has come to continue our quest in Boston, USA, and to further develop this revolutionary solution as a start-up. This is an opportunity to create a huge positive impact on our society, enhancing surgical procedures, providing greater comfort to medical teams, and improving the lives of millions of people.

Our engagement with this project remains strong, and we're more excited and determined than ever to see it come to a successful conclusion in Boston, USA, but the road to success is full of challenges and high costs. We therefore ask you to join us in this exciting new step of our journey with your generosity and support to feed our determination to take this ambitious project through to human trials and CE/FDA marking.
